SI SPOSAITALIA COLLEZIONI CLOSES WITH POSITIVE RESULTS WITH A 6,5% INCREASE IN FOREIGN ATTENDANCE
A total of 5,700 buyers (of which 35% were foreign) viewed the 170+ collections of bridalwear and men?s formalwear at Sposaitalia Collezioni, the exhibition organized by Expocts, a company of Fiera Milano Group, from June 22 to 25 in Fieramilanocity.
Thanks to the successful event, the image of the sector has restored its luster after a brief downturn.
In 2006, in Italy, the wedding industry produced an overall turnover of 299 million euros, which almost matches the 2000 turnover that was around 300 million euros. Currently, exports remain stable and hold a share equal to 14.6 million euros.
